Email Modeler

This topic describes the various fields of email modeler.
Email modeler has a rich text editor, with a toolbar on top and a rich editing text area underneath. It provides you
  • flexible font styles, sizes, boldfacing, colour schemes
  • ability to embed tables
  • ability to indent and align text
  • ability to drag-and-drop message data from the messages etc.,

    You can personlize and model the messages that will be sent to emails. Click the required XML element and make the required modifications.

    Note: Click Email Model component to modify the Style, Logo, or the Layout of the model.
    The following table describes the XML elements that are available on the email modeler interface:

Description

Header

Header is the area in the top margin of a page

Salutation

Salutation is the title of the person. For example Mr./Mrs/Miss

Body

Content of the message. You can type the required message in the text box and also use the XML elements from the model tree structure of the message data.Drag the elements to the text box and build the required message. The XPath of the elements are displayed on the text box, complying to the XPath1.0 standards.

Signature

Signature consists of text and/or pictures that are automatically added to the end of an outgoing e-mail message

Footer

Footer is the area in the bottom margin of a page

Application details

Link of the default application that is to be launched.Provide the URL of the application in the Application URL text box.
Note:

  • If you are loading an XForm application, then the path of the XForm will be displayed, by default. Modify the URL if you want to display other applications.
  • If you are loading HTML or other applications, you can provide both the absolute path as well as relative path. The relative path should have the URL prefix provided while configuring the notification processor.

  • Select Image (path) and provide the path of the image in the text box. Alternatively you can select Text and provide text as a link to launch the application.

Note: By clicking Preview at the bottom of the modeler, you can view the work you have done.
